On... Madrid
Very impressed with Madrid – first time I’ve spent some time in the actual city centre, other than lunch with John Foster of Bournemouth University Media School a couple of years ago.
It’s clean and tidy, lots of greenery and super-easy to get around. If it was located next to the sea it would be a serious rival to Barcelona for the perfect city…

Off to Madrid for four days - a series of interviews this weekend and the European Poker Tour Main Event – nice suite laid on, which I’m very much looking forward to.
Saturday, Barbara and I are booked to eat at Botin – reputedly the oldest restaurant in the world (according to Guinness).
